The post of all posts

So, I realize I haven't been very informative about my family these past few months, and where the heck we dissolved to. I'm really bad at keeping track of myself when I am on vacation, let alone keeping this thing updated about our daily events.

And this fact, I am certain, no one could care about less. However, in order to keep this blog for my own sake, I want to remember that I was not kept prisoner this summer, when I read back and think, "What on earth happened? I was so sporadic and strange..."

So self, here is a quick recap. More posts to come...

-After Chris and I reunited in California at the beginning of July, we went to San Diego for 5-day-weekends back-to-back-to-back: J's 2nd birthday party. Eliot's birthday party. Surprise-last-minute visits. And we-just-can't-stay-away-visits.

-Then after being home a few days

Then, we decided, an hour before take-off, to go back up to Utah: Sissy's birthday. Chris and Kellie's wedding (these boys keep adding women to the mix, and life is getting better and better!) Played at the mansion. Skated with homies (not me. obviously). Seven peaks (as always). Envisioned Obama (what the?). Played with Sissy. And Cousin.

-Then home (to Fullerton... which sometimes was debatable, yet in deed, our home) for a few days

-Then back to San Diego for more Ramona-boys-plus-wives-plus-babies (it's getting CRRRAZY!) lovin'. London's 1st birthday. Girls night out! Dinner on the harbor, WICKED (this deserves it own post. And it will. Oh it will.), and desert at Extraordinary Deserts in downtown. Perfect night! Perfect. Another reception for the newly Whittakers.

-Then straight to Yosemite. Deserves it's own post.

-Then straight to Lake Tahoe. Deserves it's own post.

-Then back to Utah for Uncle Aaron's homecoming. Deserves it's own post.

Living life from week-to-week is not a job to be undertaken by the faint in heart.

Myself included.

I missed my own bed. Seriously.

And lost my phone (count them!) THREE times.

I tell ya, it's being on that island for 3 years---it made us crazy!!! Give us some land to travel on, and we went a little crazy. However, I am (more than) happy to report we are home for good. After being announced as a "new family in the ward" three seperate times", I feel it's official.

We live in Fullerton! For good. Well, for two years good... It's strange though, that as soon as Wednesday night arrived (Chris only has school Monday-Wednesday), my first thought was, "WHERE TO!?" And I almost started to execute a plan. But, for the sanity of my children (and myself---let's be honest), I chose to stay in my own little Orange county pocket, and learn all about this new place we call home.

So, before I can move onto this new chapter in our lives, I feel we need to do a lot of backtracking, and cover some important events. I mean, CHRIS GRADUATED , and got into the Grad School Program of his choice (HOOOOORAH!!!!!), and my blog wouldn't even know it.

I guess I just wanted to lay out a format for this upcoming week of posts you won't care about. Be prepared to yawn your way through, while I document my family's past adventures.

MAHALO. And goodnight.
