We have had visitors about 90% of the time since Hugh was born. Chris' family came out on the 31st, and just left on the 11th (wow, that was a WEEK ago??), and I guess we are still recovering. HA! Is that rude?? Nah, you know what I mean. Right? Right.
Anyway, some of our BFF's, whom we love and adore, came out to visit us, literally last minute. I left a comment on her blog that said, "Hey, you should come visit us", and she wrote a comment on my blog, "Ya, have Chris call Geoff, and tell him we should come visit you", and that was that. A couple phone calls later, and here they are!
WE LOVE THEM. And are SO HAPPY they are here. Did I mention we love them?
I have this really bad problem about blogging when guests are here, ya know? It seems all the time in the day disappears. However, off to Pearl Harbor they went, and after going there 1.5 million times (I love the place. Don't get angry), I kindly gave them the keys to our car, and put both boys to bed.
And now I get to blog.
How exciting, right? So, is this really a blog post, about how I get to blog? I guess so. Either that, or a post about why I haven't been posting (specifically finished the whole labor/delivery do-dad). Not sure which is more pathetic...
I'm typing frantically fast. You never knew when either Boy Human is going to wake up, and then I will just have to push publish, and that will be the end of this. But here are some pictures of those cute boys I was talking about earlier. Taken this very day. Like an hour ago.
For posterity sake: We too both kidos into the doctors today for some routine visits. J got his last shots until he starts Kindergarten. You know all the hub-bub about immunizing?? No wait. Pause. That's for another blog post. I will say, however, J is now officially fully immunized! And. He is not autistic from it. Yet. Anyway, the point is, he didn't cry at all. He is such a rock star. Before it all happened, we explained to him, "You are going to get three shots. It's going to hurt, and then ALL DONE!" I tried to be really positive about emphasising the "ALL DONE" part. He seemed to totally get it, because after the third shot, he frantically/happily (ya, weird combo, I know) yelled "ALL DONE!" while signing "all done" as fast as he could. The nurse, like all good nurses, told us how our boy was the best in all the years she has been a nurse. Ya, ya... Either way, she seemed thoroughly impressed. As was I. I stood holding Hugh out in the hall, watching, while Chris pinned J's leg in between his. Maybe I cried. So what?
And that was that.
He got three shots. Three band aids. Three stickers. He totally thought it was worth it.
Hugh? No shots. He just ate like it was the end of tomorrow, and passed out. He has gained two pounds, but still seems so miniature. J, who I swear hasn't grown since he was 9 months old, actually weighs in around 30. I can't remember the exact stats. But he IS growing. Who knew??
Well, this post is sporadic enough. Maybe I should move onto more important things... Afterall, those little rugrats are still sleeping.
Labor story anyone?

I make no promises. If I don't finish, you will know...
It means one of the Boy Humans woke up, and I had to push SAVE NOW, instead of PUBLISH POST.
You understand though, right?
Awe, your boys are so cute. Hugh looks so much like Chris in that picture!
