Surf dude.

Our full day at the HURLY PRO - Trestles
Once upon a time, I turned 18.

I moved to California for two seconds, right before I moved to Hawaii for two seconds.

Before I set off on my endeavors, my wise father smirked something along the lines of, "Oh gosh. You'll probably end up falling in love with some surf dude..."

Immediately, I spun around and said, "Oh, absolutely not. Never." Because I knew there was nothing I was less interested in.

Especially not California surfers. Oh, please.

And then a few seconds later I fell in love.

With a boy and his surfboard.

He even won over my Dad.
We were all smitten.

Ever since then, it's been a life full of SPF and sandy diapers.

And no, I still have no interest in surfing.

Just the boy.

And his offspring.
