Being of the LDS faith, we gave J a "name and a blessing" when he was a few weeks.
We found some great shots that were taken at J's baby blessing OVER SIX MONTHS AGO. I'm lame, I know. I'm just really slow at getting things together, and (as many can attest to), just not super overly sentimental---not even for my first born? I know. Lame.
J was blessed in my parents ward in Orem, Utah on August 5th 2007 (my sister Liz's birthday!!). I think there were 3.4 million people in the prayer circle because both our families, and Chris had many of his best friends there. It was a perfect day! Chris, of course, did a perfect job, which brought tears to many eyes, especially his own. I loved it. Priceless.
Anyway, here's to my sweet baby and his most precious blessing day.
