Sister, Sister

I now own 3 sisters. Back in April (I know I am THAT lame, I am talking about something back in April... These last two months are so unaccounted for) my brother Nate got married, then like 2 seconds later my brother Mike got married.

Nate first:
Nate got married April 25. They were sealed in the Laie, Hawaii temple. It was SO WONDERFUL having my whole family here. Everyone, except for my twin brother Aaron, who is on his mission, was here! Gosh, it really was such a fun week. I wish they could have stayed forever. It was so fun for them to finally get to see what my life is like out here on a daily basis.

J fell in love with Sam the very first time he met her. He gives Nate a run for his money.

Nate married Samantha Pipit. We love her. She is perfect for him. She is a very intelligent, beautiful, sweet girl. They met back in September, and dated for only a few days, when they decided this was a done deal. We all couldn't be more pleased with the turn out. Sam really helps to bring out the best in Nate, and what more could you ask for?

Right after they were officially engaged!

Sam is one tough cookie. She is from the Philippines. Her parents applied for VISAS to come over two different times, months and months ago, to prepare for their daughters wedding. Both times, they were denied. That means, when Sam got married, she did not have any of her immediate family members out here. Not one. Not her mom, dad, sister of brother. To me, that was a such a big deal. I think that would have been a big obstacle for me to over come. But, she took everything in stride. I really look up to her in that aspect. You go girl!!

Mike second:
Mike got married May 31. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. Their wedding was wild! They are a very high energy, fun, crazy couple! They are going to have a wild-fun life together. I don't think there are two people in this world that are as similar as those two.

Kendra in Hawaii, at Nate and Sam's wedding.

Mike married Kendra Skousen. She is a rockin' rodeo queen from Arizona, going to school at BYU. They met through a friend-of-a-friend type of situation (I'm pretty sure Mike was kissing her roommate...or something like that. HA!). They had been dating for over a year--which is like eternity in the Mormon world, right-- when Kendra came out to Hawaii with the rest of my family for Nate's wedding. Eventually, Mike got around to proposing to her (that is a while other story!) when they were out here, and their wedding was set for August-ish.

The party people

I could have killed this kid. HA! To make a long story short, they ended up moving their date up (A FEW MONTHS!!), and a few days after we got back from Australia, we hopped on a plane again, to go to their wedding. They got married almost exactly five weeks after they got engaged. Of course, we had so much time spending time with family again. I'm so glad that we didn't miss their wedding, and we were able to a part of the madness.

Wedding annoucement

**As a disclaimer to all Utahns: I got in late Wednesday night. Thursday, they both went through the temple to get endowed, with a family breakfast & dinner that day. Friday was another breakfast thing (there was a lot of those), all day we spent setting up for reception, and then her bridal shower/bachelorette party. Then, Saturday was the sealing & reception. Sunday morning we flew home. I didn't get to see anyone. Really. I know, I know, "...if I loved you, I would have made time for you"... I didn't even have time to breathe, let alone find a car, and slip away from the madness. Time with my family is few and far between. It's hard to take away from that. I know you understand, because we love each other. If you want proof of the madness, I can post the "TAYLOR/SKOUSEN WEDDING ITINERARY", they printed out for each family member, so you can see the madness. This was NOT a one day wedding hit.**

I love my brothers, and think they both did a GREAT job in choosing their wives. My brothers and sister are my best friends. I could spend all of my time with my family alone, and call life a success. I enjoy spending time with them more than anything. It was fun to have 2 family parties in ONE month. I was the only one married sibling in my family for the last 3+ years, so Chris and I are happy some brothers finally decided to join the ranks.

Now, how about making some cousins for my kidos??
