So on Sunday, I love sleeping in! J must have picked up on this, because he really gets into it too, and will just sleep and sleep and sleep until I wake him up on purpose. This last Sunday, I let him sleep until 10:00 AM, when I decided it was time to get up (the boy goes to bed at 8:00 PM so according to me, he had PLENTY of sleep). I was worried that if he slept too much, then he would be cranky the rest of the day from being totally wacked out of his schedule.
I woke him up and fed him, but then he crashed, and went back to sleep... I found it a lost cause to try and keep him awake (who would do that anyway?), so I let him sleep while I was getting ready for church. Of course, once I was ready to go, Chris had secretly gone in and got him all ready to go---BUT HE WAS STILL SLEEPING! I picked him up out of his crib, and in an instant this is what he looked like!!!
You can't tell me that this picture does not make you smile. Not even a little? :) What a goofy picture. Chris took this picture on our way out the door on Sunday. I'm sorry, I just think it's too weird to not share. Here's a couple more from before we left. Our boy is such a ham...

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous!!! I don't know that I will ever get a full 8 hours of sleep again!! Hopefully I develop these wonder mom parenting skills like you so that my kid will sleep forever.... that's unreal! He's a cutie!
