My name is ReBecca Taylor. I go by all sorts of things such as Becca, Beeka (ew), Mom Taylor (mwah ha ha ha), Wife, etc. However, the most common among those is simply Taylor. As you can see, it's my middle name. Simple enough, right? Wrong. Moving on... I am originally (if you use that term lightly) from Provo, Utah! I love love love going home to visit.
I am married to my best friend Christopher J. He is originally from San Diego, California. He is honestly the best person I have ever met. I can say that every day, and it's wonderful that I really mean it. He just so happens to be an amazing surfer, with a lot of talent, and a lot of heart. He is a member of the Hawaiian Sol Life Surf Team. When asked by the manager of the team if he would go on tour, he told him, "No thank you. I'm a family man." Ah... I think I'm his biggest fan, next to his son, who loves and adores him.
We happen to have a happy, fabulously wonderful baby named J Taylor Gavin. People always ask, "So what do you call him?" Well, his name is J, so we call him J. No, that's not a type-o; yes, it really is just capital J; no, J does not stand for anything; no, there is not a period after J; no, we will not, and do not, call him "JT" or "JP". I think that covers everything there. He was born on June 22, three weeks late, and after 33 hours of labor. I think he was worth waiting for.
